Hi, I'm Cassie!
My journey behind the lens started in high school with a single photography class and a life-changing experience: having my senior portraits taken. For the first time, I saw a version of myself that made me feel truly confident. I wanted to give that same feeling to others, so I earned my degree in Photographic Technology and Imaging.
Of course, the real learning happened through years of practice and a year in a high-volume portrait studio. In 2007, alongside the birth of my first child, I officially 'went for it' and started my own business. 18 years and three kids later (including a whirlwind set of boy and girl twins!), I’m still just as obsessed with capturing life’s best moments.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me enjoying a slow morning coffee, hunting for the perfect chocolate chip cookie, singing in my car, hanging out with my amazing children, or dancing in my kitchen while wearing sweats. I’m a lover of golden hour sunsets, but you’ll almost always find me wearing black!
My clients truly become my friends and family. I love watching your children grow through my lens and being a part of your story. I’m an open book, so please ask me anything—and just a heads up, I’m a hugger!
